Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MBTS) is one of the six official seminaries of the Southern Baptist Convention, North America’s largest Protestant denomination. Located in Kansas City, Missouri, Midwestern also hosts an undergraduate college, Midwestern Baptist College, SBC, as well as the entire personal library of “the Prince of Preachers”, Charles Haddon Spurgeon. The seminary is especially focused on evangelism and missions, in the U.S. Midwest and Canada, in South Korea, and around the world.
One way Midwestern serves these needs is through its cutting-edge online degree program, the first of its kind in the SBC. Prospective students may choose from a growing number of 100% online degrees, including a Master of Arts in Theological Studies, Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry, and a Korean language Doctor of Ministry.
Rod and Sherri Martin are honored to serve Christ by serving Midwestern, currently on the institution’s Board of Regents, as they have done since 2009.
